Freedom Personal Safety is a social enterprise working in partnership with organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors to make a difference to people’s lives and provide a range of workshops. They are passionate about helping women find their physical and emotional strength and take control of their safety, committed to working with families to ensure all children can enjoy their childhood without being hurt. They work with parents on how to talk to their children about healthy relationships, and are proud to work with young people in helping them enjoy relationships based on respect not abuse.
Freedom Personal Safety fully supports Ni3 in their aim of preventing gender-based violence.
Basis Young People offer 1-to-1 specialist support to young people in Leeds who are being sexually exploited, as well as raising awareness in schools, training professionals and campaigning against the stigma and judgement faced by young people with experience of sexual exploitation.
As an evidence based organisation, Basis are pleased to support None in Three as we believe this research is much needed and are hopeful this will ultimately result in improved outcomes for the young people and adults we work with who have experienced abuse, coercion and control in their dating relationships. We also particularly welcome the evidence-based, participatory approach taken by None in Three.
WomenCentre is a charity with a mission to improve quality of life for women both locally and nationally, through our pioneering work with women and girls. WomenCentred Working offers insight, based on expertise in working with women and girls facing severe and multiple disadvantage across a range of sectors which can be shared in order to develop local and national agendas, and make the case for women-centred solutions.
WomenCentre is pleased to be supporting the work of the None in Three Research Centre. It is vitally important that the voices of girls and women are captured so that we can understand the problems they faced in their relationships in a hope that access to services and justice can be improved. It is long overdue.
Changing Lives is a registered charity which provides specialist support for thousands of vulnerable people and their families every month. At Changing Lives Halton Domestic Abuse Service, we provide safe accommodation for adults and children fleeing domestic abuse in Refuge, in addition to a community based IDVA service, working with people aged 16 and above on an outreach basis
At Changing Lives we wholeheartedly support None In Three’s research aims to change cultural, social, religious and other attitudes towards gender based violence among young people. We know from national and international evidence that abuse and violence in young people’s relationships represents a substantial problem, and can place young people at great risk.
